suisse consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la Nouvelle \u00c9cole de Paris. \u00c0 travers une s\u00e9lection d\u2019\u0153uvres majeures, l\u2019exposition invite \u00e0 red\u00e9couvrir une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019artistes qui a profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 la sc\u00e8ne artistique fran\u00e7aise de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-guerre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6187943b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6187943b\" Seconde \u00c9cole de Paris, la Nouvelle \u00c9cole de Paris d\u00e9signe un ensemble d\u2019artistes actifs dans la capitale fran\u00e7aise entre les ann\u00e9es 1940 et 1960. Dans une p\u00e9riode de reconstruction et de renouveau culturel, ces peintres participent au dynamisme de la cr\u00e9ation fran\u00e7aise et explorent de nouvelles voies d\u2019expression. Sans programme th\u00e9orique commun ni chef de file, mais unis par des liens d\u2019amiti\u00e9, ils cherchent \u00e0 renouveler le langage pictural.<\/p><p>D\u00e8s 1946, l\u2019historien de l\u2019art Pierre Francastel contribue \u00e0 imposer l\u2019appellation \u00abNouvelle \u00c9cole de Paris\u00bb pour d\u00e9signer une peinture non figurative, lib\u00e9r\u00e9e de la fonction descriptive et des conventions de la perspective. Il commence \u00e0 collectionner des \u0153uvres d\u2019art \u00e0 21 ans, avec l\u2019achat d\u2019un tableau de Georges Borgeaud. La d\u00e9couverte des vitraux d\u2019Alfred Manessier, puis ses rencontres avec Jean Bazaine, Jean Le Moal et Elvire Jan, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son oncle G\u00e9rard Pfulg, historien de l\u2019art, orientent durablement ses choix.<\/p><p>La collection de Michel Pfulg t\u00e9moigne du regard \u00e9clair\u00e9 d\u2019un amateur d\u2019art et de son int\u00e9r\u00eat profond pour la Nouvelle \u00c9cole de Paris. Sa collection rassemble notamment des peintures de Jean Bazaine, Jean Bertholle, Roger Bissi\u00e8re, Camille Bryen, Maurice Est\u00e8ve, Elvire Jan, Charles Lapicque, Alfred Manessier, Jean Le Moal, \u00c9douard Pignon, Serge Poliakoff, Gustave Singier, \u00c1rp\u00e1d Szenes, Pierre Tal Coat, Raoul Ubac, Maria Helena Vieira da Silva et Jacques Villon. Ces artistes, dont plusieurs ont connu une reconnaissance remarquable au cours des ann\u00e9es 1950 et 1960, illustrent la richesse et la diversit\u00e9 des recherches men\u00e9es autour de l\u2019abstraction. Les \u0153uvres r\u00e9unies r\u00e9v\u00e8lent autant de sensibilit\u00e9s singuli\u00e8res, entre lyrisme, spontan\u00e9it\u00e9 du geste, recherche chromatique et attention port\u00e9e \u00e0 la mati\u00e8re.<\/p><p>Au-del\u00e0 de leur valeur artistique, les tableaux de la collection Pfulg conservent la m\u00e9moire d\u2019un moment essentiel de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art moderne. Malgr\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9volution des go\u00fbts et les fluctuations du march\u00e9, cet ensemble constitue aujourd\u2019hui un t\u00e9moignage pr\u00e9cieux de la vitalit\u00e9 de la peinture
